McDonald’s Recalls Happy Meal Hello Kitty Toy

McDonald's is recalling a "Hello Kitty" themed whistle given to children in Happy Meals, citing a chance they could choke on some of its parts.  I caught up with McDonald's locally to get an update on why this recall took place and what the reasoning was.

"This was a voluntary recall.  There were no incidents. This was an effort by McDonald's to protect their customers safety and well being.  The toy has been removed and replaced."

So fear not parents with children that are Happy Meal lovers!
