Imagine going to the movies and not having anywhere to sit.  You might want to go a little earlier, right?  One thing that I never understand is people saving rows of seats.  So my question is how many seats should one person be able to save?

Over the weekend we decided to go to the movies.  Friday and Saturday are usually busy so we went a little earlier.  When we got into the theater, there was a lady saving an entire row of seats.

We tried to sit on the opposite side of where this lady was and she jumped up and shouted 'those seats are saved.'  I looked down the row and she was the only person in it!

I stayed right where I was and told her that it was rude to save an entire row of movie seats.  And the worst part was that only five of her friends showed up.

I don't mind if you are saving a seat or two, but an entire row is ridiculous.  If you and your friends want to make sure to have a seat, get there early like the rest of us.  Don't expect one person to save 20 seats.

So what do you think?  Is it ok for someone to save an entire row of seats at the movie theater or should there be an understood number of seats allowed?
