Amarillo Police Seek Driver In Hit & Run Accident That Killed Pedestrian

Amarillo Police are looking for the driver that was involved in a hit and run accident that killed a pedestrian at 45th & the Canyon E-Way.  Police have identified the pedestrian as 45 year old Geoffrey Lynn Slover of Amarillo.  All we have to go off at the moment is the vehicle being described as a "light colored, 4 door mid-sized sedan, with damage to the windshield and hood".

Amarillo Police:

"UPDATED 11-11-13, 9:45am; The pedestrian has been identified as Geoffrey Lynn Slover W/M 45 of Amarillo. The incident remains under investigation, anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 374.4400 or the Traffic Investigation Unit at 378.4250. 

Original Release: 
On November 10, 2013 at approximately 12:10 am Officers were dispatched to 45th and Canyon on pedestrian that had been struck by a hit and run driver. The pedestrian died at the scene of injuries received in the crash. The vehicle that fled the scene is described as a light colored mid-sized sedan. Justice of the Peace Clay Houdashell has ordered an autopsy. The name of the pedestrian is being with held at this time until the family is notified. The incident is being investigated by the Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Dept. If anyone has seen a light colored 4 door mid-sized sedan with damage to the hood and windshield you are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 374-4400 or the Traffic Investigation squad at 378-4250."

I can't imagine having something like this on my conscious.  If you see a vehicle that even begins to resemble what is described above, you should call either of the given phone numbers.
