An armed bank robbery took place around 4:30 Monday afternoon, February 3rd, 2014 in Amarillo.  Texas Plains Federal Credit Union, at 804 S Madison, was robbed by a man claiming to have a gun.  I say "claiming" due to the fact that the suspect kept his left hand in his jacked pocket and told the clerk he "had a gun in his pocket" and to "give her all the money".  The

Amarillo Crime Stoppers has released photos of the suspect involved in the robbery of the Toot'n Totum at Hillside and Bell in Amarillo.  The robbery took place over the weekend (Sunday, January 19th), and Crime Stoppers is hoping someone will recognize the person in the photos and come forward.

We've all been there, you're driving in your car, and you see a car or set of headlights behind you, and they seem to be following you.  You take a turn, they take the same turn.  Maybe you turn onto a very low traffic street, and they are still there behind you.  It seems like they're following you.  Most of the time, they're not, it's merely coincidence they are behind you for a few miles.  Howe

It's like the movie Bad Santa, except there's no elf, drunk Santa, or shopping mall.  The E-Z Money on Amarillo Blvd was robbed on Christmas Eve.  I don't think that's what they mean by "easy money".  Beyond pulling a jack move on the cash register, the employees working at the time, had their personal belongings stolen as well.  The crooks even took their coats!

The Toot 'n Totum at 15th & S Washington was robbed last night, and Amarillo Crime Stoppers asks for your help in locating the suspect.  These photos were released to the public today.  Take a good look at them, and if you know who it is, you could be seeing a nice Christmas cash reward.

Tis' the season for crooks to take what they don't deserve, because there are actually people out there that think crime does pay.  So Amarillo Police are on the look out for 2 suspects that I guess decided they didn't need to earn money the legal way, you know, a job, and robbed 8 Zero 1 Discount on Filmore in Amarillo.

This morning, Amarillo Police were dispatched on a call for fighting and armed robbery at the Pilot Truck Stop at I-40 & Lakeside.  The good news, the suspect was arrested.  The bad news, the victim was just passing through Amarillo, and probably never wants to come back!  Way to go!  Good job making us look like a bunch of crooks Mr. Idiot!  But I digress...

The Subway at I-40 & Grand in Amarillo was victim of armed robbery this morning around 10am.  The suspect made off with the cash in the register, but the security cameras got a good look at him.  This may not be the only place he plans on robbing, so if you or a friend work at a place of any kind that keeps money on site, you may wanna keep an eye open for him.

Amarillo isn't quite a "tourist town", so the few people that do come through and take a stay for the night shouldn't be greeted in such a manner.  A man was staying at the Motel 6 on I40 East and when he was loading up his luggage, he was greeted at gun point by somebody who really wanted this guy to hate Amarillo.
