Just got this picture from my wife.  She said people are swerving all over the frontage road on I-40 west bound, right at the Washington St intersection.  I'm not sure what exactly happened.  My guess is either someone really wanted to get rid of these lawn mowers, or they fell off a landscaping crew trailer.  The way I see it, it's 2 free lawn mowers!

Wednesday's accident at 15th and Washington, in which a Toot N Totum convenience store was struck by a vehicle, leaves a woman hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.

5 people were injured in a 1 vehicle roll-over that took place in the parking lot of Westgate Mall over the weekend.  Of the 5, an 18 year old Amarillo female sustained life-threatening injuries.  Speed is believe to be a factor, and Amarillo Police suspect narcotics to be another possible factor in the accident.

Just drove down Bell in Amarillo, was seeing flashing lights from a distance, got up on 34th & Bell and saw this!  I'm not sure what happened, the Amarillo Police Dept hasn't sent anything out yet.  To me, it looks like a high speed chase took place, and the end result was horrific traffic accident.

There was a pretty nasty accident last night around 11pm at 22nd & S Bolton in Amarillo.  A man driving a Chevy truck with 2 passengers was traveling west on 22nd and ran the stop sign at 22nd & S Bolton.  Another man was traveling north on Bolton when the truck ran the stop sign, causing him to t-bone the truck.  The driver of the Chevy truck fled the scene of the accident and just left h

Well this is just fantastic news.  They're adding 4 more red light cameras to Amarillo.  So, that's 4 more chances to be caught running a red light.  Not that you should be anyways, I just don't agree with these cameras.  It's entrapment!  Well maybe not, but it sure feels like it!

Earlier, Dallas Chambers wrote up a story about an accident that happened today on I-27 that left one person in the hospital with life threatening injuries.

No matter how much validity there is to this, it doesn't change the fact that 5 people lost their lives and another was injured.  A tragic story about 6 cast members of the Texas musical drama.  A Texas DPS spokesman says that alcoholic beverage containers were found in the car driven by the cast members after the horrific accident.

It's electric!  Literally!  Sparking wires on a utility pole on 10th between Arthur & Johnson has emergency personnel blocking off traffic on 10th in Amarillo.

Around 7:30a, Amarillo police officers were dispatched to a traffic collision in the 4600 block of Bushland Blvd.  Upon arrival, officers learned that a forklift collided with a Ford F-350 truck while the forklift operator was trying to cross Bushland Blvd.  The driver of the forklift sustained injuries from the crash, and later died at the hospital.

If you had to take a trip in your vehicle this afternoon in Amarillo, you no doubt saw traffic on I40 just trickling down the highway.  A horrible accident took place and a woman was badly injured as well.  The driver and his truck that caused the entire accident left the scene without any remorse, Amarillo police officers seek help in identifying the driver of the red truck in this hit and run.
