For parents of young kids, the end of summer can be bittersweet.

On August 4th and 5th, Nickelodeon and Amarillo Civic Center are bringing the highly popular Paw Patrol to life on stage. The full cast will be in attendance with a new and exciting story that’s sure to wow your little fans, and with a wide range of ticket prices, there’s a ticket for every budget.

There are three showings Saturday, at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 6 p.m.; plus, they’ll have one more showing on Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are the same price for anyone who’s had their first birthday and range from the cheapest seats at $18 dollars, the highest at $41, and a VIP Meet & Greet package for $110.

Just opened this summer, the CAP in Canyon, TX is the Amarillo area’s newest water park, and with summer nearing the finish line, there are a few more weeks left to enjoy this new attraction!

The park is open Sunday 12 p.m.to 6 p.m., Monday-Friday 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday 1 p.m. – 7 p.m.; admission is $8 for anyone over 3 years old and free for those 3 and under. The park offers concessions and locations available for party rentals. Click here for more details.

The Discovery center is kicking off the school year right with an all-day festival for anyone with a curious mind. The event is August 4th and runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; plus, it’s included with the purchase of a general admission ticket ($11 for adults, $8 for kids, military, and seniors, and free for those 3 and under).

The festival will include a bubble station, construction zone, water rockets, a burn studio, and more, so there’s an activity for everyone, young or old to enjoy, so bring friends and family out to enjoy this end of summer bash!
