2011 Vans Warped Tour Stops Through Amarillo! Well Sort Of

Okay before you go "OMG" and grab your camera, jump in your car and haul butt down the highway to the Holiday Inn on I-40 & Ross stop!  Your not going to see Hayley Williams from Paramore walking out of her tour bus!  I actually had a chance to speak to somebody that works with the 2011 Vans Warped Tour and she told me that it's really just the production guys staying the night at the hotel.  Come on do you really think your gonna see somebody like the Gym Class Heroe's staying at a Holiday Inn?  Most likely not.

Anyways, one of the benefits of living on I-40 is that lots of people make stops through Amarillo.  We've had many of surpirise visitors in our city simply because they are traveling across the country on I-40.

I got the call saying there were busses and "rock" looking people all over the hotel so I took a drive to see for myself.  Some pretty interesting characters out there, but  again nobody you are hoping to see.

If you want some picutures of some pretty cool tour buses then by all means, go check them out.  But again don't expect to see any of the bands in the line up there.

2011 Vans Warped Tour is going on all summer with great bands like Paramore, Gym Class Heroe's, 3OH!3, Unwritten Law and many more!  Definitely a show worth checking out if you can make a road trip.  They have already hit Texas but it looks like Denver is still to come which isn't that bad of a drive.  For tickets and tour dates/locations click here!
