An early morning shooting took place around 1:30am on August 30th, 2013.  The shots were fired at a house on the 100 block of N Maryland.  There were no injuries, only minor damage to the house.  Amarillo Police caught up with the suspects, and found the gun, and even some marijuana.  3 Amarillo teenagers were arrested.

"On Friday, August 30th at 1:30am, APD officers were sent to the 100 block of N Maryland on a report of shots being fired. The report indicated that a possible suspect vehicle was a light colored Jeep. Upon arrival in the area, a field officer observed a vehicle matching the description and stopped the vehicle in the 100 block of N Florida. Three occupants were removed from the vehicle and detained while offices conducted their investigation. There were no injuries reported and it appears that a house in the area suffered some minor damage. Officers located spent shotgun casings in the vehicle along with a sawed off shotgun. All three occupants were brought to the Police Department for questioning and were later booked on various charges. The driver was identified as Donald Frazier B/M 18 and he was arrested and charged with Deadly Conduct. One passenger was identified as Dorian Tyrell Allen B/M 17 was arrested and charged with Deadly Conduct, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, and 3 municipal warrants. The other passenger Randolph Dwayne Sims B/M 18 was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana."
