5 Things You Should Do To Prevent Getting Hacked

Have you been hacked before?  How hard is it to figure out your password?  Here's a list of the worst passwords of 2015 and tips to avoid being hacked.

So how can you protect yourself?  Here's some tips from McAfee.com (They are the computer security people).

• Avoid consecutive keyboard combinations like "qwerty" or "asdfg". Don't use slang words, common misspellings, or words spelled backwards.  Those are the easiest.
• Easy answers to security questions.  When you click on the forgot password link, it usually asks you some security questions. Most people use pet names, first cars, etc when it comes to their security question answers.  A lot of those answers are on your social media profiles.
• Come up with a different password for different sites. Because most people don't do that, it's easy to hack other accounts you have.
• As simple as it sounds, not letting people watch you enter your password helps.
• Avoid logging in to accounts when using an unsecured Wi-Fi (such as airports, coffee shops, etc).
