Amarillo Man Going To Prison For Child Prostitution
An Amarillo man was sentenced to serve over 12 years in federal prison for child prostitution. Jerrod Lamonte Marshall, age 40, plead guilty to taking a girl across state lines for prostitution.
"Jerrod Lamonte Marshall, 40, was sentenced to 151 months without parole and ordered to pay $2,900 in restitution to his victim, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri.
Marshall pleaded guilty to transporting a minor to engage in prostitution on Feb. 6, according to the release."
To that, I say good riddance, but do you think the 15 year old girl that he took across state lines should be charged with prostitution? Because the courts did!
"The 15-year-old victim was arrested for prostitution in Joplin, Mo., in January 2012 and told officials she’d previously worked as a prostitute for Marshall in Tulsa, Okla., the release states."
