It's long been a legend in Amarillo...but a lot of truth to said legend. The city is full of different massage parlors, you'd think its residents just have a serious problem with getting themselves massaged.

However, many of the massage parlors around town aren't exactly what you think they are. Sure, some will give you a "massage", but they aren't the therapeutic ones many are actually seeking.

There are so many of these operations going on in Amarillo, and while the threat of human trafficking being done in them is very real, police simply can't dedicate resources to stopping it each day. However, these raids and stings serve as reminders that police are watching, and you will ultimately get caught.

If you're not mixed up in organized crime shenanigans, then you're probably safe. But as the old adage goes, the more you know the better prepared you are.
