Arnold Schwarzenegger and Wife Maria Shriver Separate

Maria Shriver Says Hasta la Vista to Husband Arnold Schwarzenegger And Moves Out.

Well the "perfect" couple isn't so perfect after all.  The power couple, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver,  have announced that after 25 years of marriage, they have split up.

In fact, Shriver moved out weeks ago.  It seemed as though they found the secret that made marriage work.  I mean they were totally opposites.  Schwarzenegger is an iron pumping, Republican movie star, while Shriver is a Kennedy descendant and news reporter.

The two have four children together and seemed to be happy.  But I guess anything can be camouflaged in the public's eye.  They did issue a statement to the Los Angeles Times:

"This has been a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us.  After a great deal of thought, reflection, discussion and prayer, we came to this decision together. At this time, we are living apart while we work on the future of our relationship."

"We are continuing to parent our four children together. They are the light and the center of both of our lives," their statement continued. "We consider this a private matter and neither we nor any of our friends or family will have further comment. We ask for compassion and respect from the media and the public."

So they are not saying it is completely over, but most couples who "work on their relationship," and live apart usually don't stay together.  Anyway, I wish them both the best of luck in their future, together or apart.
