Attempted Robbery At Hotel In Amarillo

Amarillo Police report that the Executive Inn, located at 2100 S. Coulter in Amarillo, was a victim of attempted robbery last night around 8:35pm.

A white male, 41 years old, from out of state, reported that 2 men tried to rob him as he walked down the stairs on the southwest side of the motel.

APD:

He said that two black males approached him. Both were wearing dark colored clothing and had dark bandanas on their heads. They were about 6 feet tall, medium build. One pointed a black semi-automatic type handgun at the victim and told him to give him the money. The victim refused, turned, and ran toward the office.

He did not see which way the two suspects went when he ran away. The victim was not injured and no money was taken in this incident.

All I'll say to end this one is, it's the holiday season, crime always increases, so kind of watch your back!
