I'm originally from Chicago but moved to the Panhandle in 1986. I graduated from Canyon High School and went on to Amarillo College to learn all I can about radio. I've been in the business for 18 years and hope for many more. I love music, baseball, and the Investigation Discovery Channel. I have one daughter, Faith which you'll probably hear about on the air, one dog, Chipper, who is a Puggle, and Twilight the cat. You can find me at home cooking. I love to cook. I also love my Air Fryer and Instant Pot! What else does one need?

This is going to be a yearly reminder. It should go without saying but be kind on Valentine's Day. I am not talking about kindness to your date. That should be a given. I mean to anyone in the service industry.
Corbyn’s In Amarillo Was Broken Into Over The Weekend
Even though it is a cheery time of the year for a lot of us it doesn’t keep the bad guys at home. I hate waking up to stories like this. The Grinch decided it was time to break into a store and rob almost half of their inventory. This is not good.
Vicki McLean Retires From Lone Star Ballet
What can I say about my friend Vicki McLean? She is a fabulous person. She really is that. I met her back in 2008 when she came in to visit me at a radio station I worked at many moons ago. She would come in and talk about Dracula. Oh and of course the Nutcracker Ball and any other great ballet they…

In a similar move Amarillo Independent School District is doing the same thing. They kicked off the program at Amarillo Schools yesterday. I just love it. I sure wish this was something that was offered when my daughter was in school. It would have been a huge blessing.
