The bill expanding medical marijuana advanced in the Texas House. House Bill 1365 advanced with a 121-23 vote, according to EastTexasMatters.com. The bill would add Alzheimer's, muscular dystrophy, PTSD, Crohn's disease, autism and other health problems to the existing state program, which is extremely limited. It also would increase the number of dispensaries from three to 12. The bill will need final approval in the House, then it will head to the Senate.
