Burglary Turns Into Robbery In Amarillo

"On Tuesday January 14th, at 10:45am, officers were dispatched to the 700 block of N Johnson on burglary that turned into a robbery. Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim who stated that when she arrived home from work she discovered her front door was standing open. As she walked inside, she observed a B/M standing in her living room attempting to steal her TV. When she startled the B/M he dropped the TV grabbed a PS3 console and a couple of small electronic devices and headed out the door. As he approached the front door the suspect reached out and struck the victim in the face with his fist, then continued out the door. The suspect is described as a B/M 30 year’s old, thin build, clean shaven, wearing prescription glasses, and a black hoodie & black pants."
