Cardi B Walks Down the Aisle in New “Be Careful” Video
Fresh off winning the Top Rap Female Artist award at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night (May 19), Cardi B is back with a new video for her Invasion of Privacy track, "Be Careful."
The cinematic visuals find a blonde Cardi B walking down this aisle of a small church. But after things start to go bad, Cardi makes her way out of the church before reappearing wearing all black for her groom's funeral. The New York rapper eventually rides off into the night, but not before planting a cross in the desert ground.
The "Be Careful" visual is Cardi's first new video since she dropped the "Bartier Cardi" video in early April. Since then, Cardi has been busy with festival appearances and teamed up with singers Rita Ora, Bebe Rexha and Charli XCX for the controversial track, "Girls."
What was supposed to be an empowering anthem for women had some people from the LGBTQ community claiming the song was doing more harm than good. Cardi eventually responded to the backlash, apologizing for any harm she may have caused.
"We never try to cause harm or had bad intentions with the song," Cardi tweeted on May 15. "I personally myself had experiences with other woman ,shiieeett with a lot of woman ! I though the song was a good song and i remember my experience ."
