Christmas Earlier and Earlier

Have you noticed that Thanksgiving hasn't hit yet, but Christmas decorations are already up?  Its seems that every year stores push Christmas down our throats earlier and earlier.

I don't mean to sound like a scrooge, but can we get through one holiday at a time.  The first time I noticed Christmas decorations was when I was getting some last minute Halloween Candy.  Yes, I said Halloween!!!  As far as I'm concerned, Thanksgiving is the perfect time to kick off the Christmas countdown, not Halloween.

Does putting Christmas stuff out earlier make that big of a difference or do people get burned out faster?
