Tis the season!  The season to spend all your money that you earned on presents, and of course, Christmas decorations!  What's Christmas without a Christmas tree?  Whether you're looking for artificial trees, or fresh cut/live trees, I've got all the information here in 1 place for you if you're shopping around in Amarillo, TX.

Troop 80 Tree Land

This is a very popular location to purchase your fresh cut Christmas tree, as it benefits the Boy Scouts program.  Prices vary, depending on height and type of tree you are buying, but if you're wanting a live tree, this is a great place to start!  You'll get what you're looking for, and you're helping the Scouts all at the same time!  They're located at 1615 Bellaire St. in Amarillo, TX.

Walmart

Walmart really does have everything.  If you're shopping for Christmas decorations, you could knock it all out in 1 place at any area Walmart.  Nothing can stop the Walmart, we've learned to live with it, but at least they're saving us money.  For Christmas trees, they carry both live/fresh cut and artificial ones.  The live/fresh cut trees start around $35 and artificial start around $20, but that's probably not going to be a 6ft tree for $20.  Either way, save money, live better, Walmart.

Big Lots

Big Lots is another place known for keeping prices reasonable, and they're definitely doing that with Christmas trees this year.  While you wont find any live/fresh cut trees at Big Lots, you will find a wide variety of artificial trees.  4ft trees start around $16 and this week, they're running a sale on 6ft trees for only $26!  Great deals to be had there!

Lowe's Home Improvement

At Lowe's stores, you'll find both artificial and live/fresh cut trees.  Artificial trees, both bare and pre-lit, are available starting around $35.  In the lawn and garden center, you'll find fresh cut/live trees that start at $20.  Not to bad huh?

Home Depot

Wrapping things up, it's Home Depot.  Another place where you can get your hands on either an artificial or fresh cut/live Christmas tree.  They're live/fresh cut trees vary in price, and you can get artificial trees starting around $15!  That's the cheapest artificial trees I've found in the Amarillo area.  So if you don't like fresh cut/live trees, this would be a great place to go!

If I've learned anything by researching this article, it's that Christmas isn't going to cost as much as I thought this year.

There's plenty of options out there, pick the one that fits you best!  And above all, have a very merry Christmas!
