The Code Blue Warming Station exists so that those who need shelter from the bitter cold temperatures can find it and stay warm. They also help those individuals with much needed supplies.

They are open from 7 PM until 7:30 AM when the winter weather gets bad.

This is where you and I come in. While most of us rest easy during the day knowing that tonight we'll be bundled up warm in our beds, there are many in our city who don't have the luxury of that kind of certainty.

With the temperatures dropping again in the Texas panhandle, this is a good cause to get behind. The Code Blue Warming Station exists for those who can't, or choose not to, use existing shelters. It's a low barrier warming station which means that while there are rules, they aren't as strict as some others.
