Child at Local Amarillo Daycare Tests Positive for COVID-19

Today on Facebook, a local daycare announced they had a student who had tested positive for COVID-19. According to the post on Facebook by Imagination Station, the child's family includes essential workers within the medical community.

It is unfortunate, and it has been a hot button topic recently regarding the operation of daycare facilities during the ongoing pandemic. While one might be quick to say they should be closed, there is the issue of families who work in what are considered essential occupations.
