Dating in 2011

So as the new year is here!  Lots of new beginnings and of course new relationships.  Maxim magazine recently did a survey on dating in 2011 and I would like to share the results with ya!

More than 2000 men and women between the ages of 18 and 64 were surveyed and this is what they found out:

38 % of single people say they're looking to date or at least hook up

10% of married people said they are looking to date or hook up

25%  use a social media in their dating life

40% judge people by their Facebook profile.

70% say they'd rather meet someone in person rather than online

24% say they've spied on their significant other's email, text, phone calls, or social media accounts

75% say the best way to get in touch after a date is a phone call

69% of guys say they consider themselves old-fashioned gentlemen who open doors and pay for dates

and this last one may surprise you,

39% of women say it's a TURN ON when guys list "video games" as one of his interests
