DMX is coming home—and it's two days sooner than expected.

According to a report Vulture published on Thursday (Jan. 24), the rapper will be released from Gilmer Federal Correctional Institution tomorrow morning after being sentenced to one year in prison for tax evasion last year. He was supposed to be released on Jan. 27, but as Vulture notes, the facility usually lets prisoners out earlier if their official release date happens to be on a weekday.

While you would think his prison release would mark the end of this part of X's life, it doesn't. Last April, he was ordered to pay up the $2.3 million he allegedly kept away from the government over the course of a decade.

His circumstances aren't perfect, but it's safe to say DMX will be happy to finally be out from behind bars, a place he's been since last January.
