This Amarillo Boutique Is Selling The Dubai Chocolate Bars

There hasn't been a bigger candy or chocolate craze in recent memory than the one that we're currently going through, and Amarillo just found itself at the forefront of it over the weekend.

If you aren't sure what I'm talking about, it's the Dubai chocolate bars that have been all over TikTok.

Well, they've been nearly impossible to find, and when you do find them, they're going for a minimum of $40. In fact, the closest place you can even find one in Texas is Houston...until this past weekend.

CB Boutique posted to their Facebook page saying they had the bars available. My wife absolutely freaked out. I promptly called and asked if there were any left, and they said there was. They were even gracious enough to hold a couple back for me so I could drive there to pick them up.

Once I got them picked up and paid for, home they went. They were a bit smaller than I had envisioned, but I should've realized for $10 a piece, they weren't going to be the full size ones everyone has been showing.

Regardless, everyone in the house was excited to try these things once I walked in the door.

Here's a little look at the bar before it was quickly devoured. Small, but cute and decorated nicely. Doesn't seem like a whole lot as you're looking at it, but it's the surprise inside that everyone is going crazy for.

Now personally, I didn't understand what the big deal was about them. I thought they just looked strange in the videos everyone was posting, and I thought to myself there's no way I'm trying it.

Then my wife split it open and I got a whiff of that pistachio paste inside. Ok, now I kinda wanna try it. Here's a look inside in case you haven't seen it yet.

On to the taste test. I let my wife get the first bite since she's the one who was absolutely giddy over being able to taste it. She was sold immediately. Then the kids took a bite of it, and they couldn't stop raving about it.

Ok, I'll give it a rip. I took a bite into it. The crunchiness was such a surprise, and the flavor was truly on-point. The way the pistachio and chocolate balanced each other was way beyond my expectation.
