Earth Day Amarillo At Thompson Park
Are you looking to chip in and do your part for the planet this year for Earth Day? While you can't transform into Captain Planet, you can still be a hero and help plant trees at Thompson Park!
Give back to Mother Earth this year by volunteering for Regeneration 2012!
We'll be planting 250 trees this Saturday morning at Thompson Park and your invited to get your hands dirty with the community!
Volunteers can sign up Saturday to help get 250 new trees in the ground at Thompson Park by signing up in the morning between 8:30 and 10. Lunch for them is courtesy of Carpet Tech, and work will end by 2 p.m.
It's a pretty cool idea and a great way for you to teach your children how to do the right thing!
I strongly encourage everyone to try and make it out and plant at least 1 tree!
Make a difference and give back to the mom that is always giving to you, Mother Earth.
