Employee Robbed At Capitol Loans And Tax Service In Amarillo Robbed

It's another robbery in Amarillo!  As the employees of Capital Loans & Tax Service were locking up for the night, a male suspect approached a female employee as she was walking to her car,  and robbed her at gunpoint.  He made off with the money she had in her purse, and her trust in human beings.

"On Friday December 27th, at approximately 6:40pm, APD officers were dispatched to the Capitol Loans and Tax Service at 2412 Paramount on a Robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival officers spoke with an employee who stated that they and another employee had just locked up the business and was walking to her car when she was approached by a B/M who demanded money from her. She stated she believed the suspect was armed with a pistol. The suspect took money from the female and was last seen running north on Paramount. The suspect is described as a B/M in his late 30’s to early 40’s, 6’1”, 180 pounds and wearing dark colored clothing."
