When everyone thinks of the fourth of July in Amarillo it’s usually hotdogs hamburgers and fireworks. But pancakes? Oh yes! Especially in Canyon.

The Canyon Noon Lions Club is putting on its annual fourth of July all you can eat pancake fest from July 4th from 7am to 10:30 at the Cole Community Center.

Five dollars gets you in and as always kids 5 and under are free, plus kids get to decorate pancakes with special toppings and other goo, while being entertained by Roary the Lion.

Buy tickets prior to the event and buy 4 with one free. Purchase tickets at Happy State Bank.

The Canyon Noon Lions Club is involved locally by giving to Evelyn Rivers Project, Whitaker Ranch, Snak Pak 4 Kids, Christmas, coat and shoe shopping for Boys Ranch, Adopt a Highway, doing a cookout for the Randall County and Canyon firemen and policemen, provides scholarships to graduating seniors and sponsors a Leo club at Canyon High School.
