With age comes wisdom, and cramps, forgetfulness, pains in weird places, moodiness, fatigue and many other things that I just can't think of, because Father Time has taken a baseball bat to my brain.  But alas, one thing age also brings with it, is the increased risk of heart problems.  Former Dodgers manager, Tommy Lasorda, has suffered a heart attack at age 84.

Mercury News reports that the baseball legend suffered the heart attack yesterday, and is set to be released from the hospital tomorrow.

Mercury News reports:

The Hall of Fame manager spent 20 years in the Dodgers' dugout, compiling a 1,599-1,439 record and winning two World Series titles (1981, 1988). Lasorda's Dodgers also won eight division titles and four National League pennants.

He was definitely one of the greats in the history of the game!  But, he's not dead, so lets not go talking like he is.

This old dude is is tough as nails and isn't letting this heart issue get him down.  He's ready to leave hospital after this "mild" heart attack.

TMZ reports on the incident as well:

People at the draft began to suspect something was wrong today when Lasorda was not present to announce the Dodgers' draft picks.

Say a prayer for Tommy Lasorda and his family!  Stay strong, the legend lives on!
