With school back in session in Amarillo, it's time to start showing appreciation for all the teachers who have to put up with our minions.

We know the kiddos aren't the easiest to deal with, I mean, we do live with them. With teachers not making the salaries they should be, I love seeing when local businesses do nice things for them.

Count Ziggi's Coffee as one of my favorite businesses in Amarillo now as they're doing something wonderful for all the educators and school district employees in Amarillo.

Today, September 9th, if you're one of those aforementioned educators or school district employees, you can head into Ziggi's Coffee for a free drink!

I mean, we're all aware that caffeine helps us get through a long day, and any day dealing with that many kids can be considered a long day.

Ziggi's is over at 9402 Hillside Rd., and it just recently opened. It's one of the newest coffee shops in Amarillo, and I have to tell you it's amazing.

We were there for their grand opening and I had a chance to try out one of their drinks. I got a Spicy Chai and it was one of the best drinks I've ever had in my life.

You can get it hot or cold, I opted for hot. I'm not a HUGE Chai fan personally, but this one changed my entire world. Not too sweet, and when it hits the back of your throat, you get that spicy kick. It's truly an amazing drink.

So stop on in for your free 16 oz. drink educators, you deserve it!
