Amarillo’s Hidden Gem for Fall Fun: Gee Family Farm
One of the things we love about Amarillo, and the Texas Panhandle in general, is fall. What is it about fall that we just gravitate to? I mean, the weather is one thing. After those sweltering summer months, we welcome the cooler weather with open arms.
We also love how much the colors change in Amarillo. Sure, we can't stand all the raking of the leaves, but there's just something about the color of those leaves we can't get enough of. One of the other things we can't get enough of is all the pumpkin farms and corn mazes.

How Many Fall Festival Places Are In Amarillo
We have several different places you can go in Amarillo, some are a bit more popular than others. Maxwell's is pretty much the preeminent one as it's been around the longest and has built up a reputation.
However, my daughter and wife recently went on a field trip with her school to Gee Family Farm, and I have to say that they came back raving about it and how much fun it was.
Is Gee Family Farm Different From Others
Each one of these places has its own unique charm, and they all have some different activities from one another. Certain things are pretty common, such as corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and different games where you can shoot items out of a cannon.
Gee Family Farm, though, offers some things I've personally never seen before, and that was pretty cool. One thing I have to mention is how affordable it is there. It's only $7 per person to get in, and you get to experience all the fun, yes, even the slides.
You can fill a wagon full of pumpkins for only $30 as well, so it's quite possibly the most affordable way to get the entire family some pumpkins to carve. Take a look at all the things Gee Family Farm has to offer.
