Getting Edumacated Is Gonna Cost More At AC

Looks like a tuition hike is on the way this fall sememster at Amarillo College.  I hope you've saved your pennies if you plan on attending!  From Amarillo Globe News:

Amarillo College plans to use almost $3 million from a round of tuition and fee increases to soften the blows of future budget cuts.

The school's Board of Regents unanimously approved tuition and general fee increases Tuesday night for in-district, out-of-district and out-of-state students. Each of those students pay different tuition rates, and the hikes, slated to go into effect during the upcoming fall semester, are estimated to raise about $2.9 million.

Hey you gotta pay to play...and stay...and learn...whatever lol.  The fact is budget cuts are effecting everything we do and this is just proof!  Still AC is a very affordable community college and they offer great programs.  A little extra isn't gonna kill ya and it still don't compare to the $6,000 ++++ semesters you see at some universities!
