Hall of Famer Troy Aikman Is Coming To Hodgetown…To Pour Beer?
Heads up Cowboys fans, one of your patron saints is going to be gracing the hallowed halls of Hodgetown on April 27. It's much too late for this to be an April Fools, so I think it's safe to say it's really happening.
So what would bring Troy Aikman to Hodgetown? Well, part of it involves pouring beer.
Troy Aikman Coming To Amarillo, Texas Next Week
To be fair, the appearance of a Hall of Fame NFL quarterback at Hodgetown doesn't involve just pouring you a cold pint. Even though, I believe that's an honorable enough reason to make the trip.
He has a whole night of activities lined up. There's going to be a raffle done of autographed memorabilia. If that's not enough, and you want to get to know Troy a little bit, there will be a special on-field interview with the legend.
Then, he's headed to Bar 352.
Yes, Troy Aikman Will Some Beer In Hodgetown
Now, considering where we live and the overall vibe in the city after a Cowboys loss, I imagine getting a beer poured by one of the NFL's greats might be a bit tough. Call me crazy, but I think he'll draw a crowd.
There's also no mention of how long he'll be pouring beer; just that there will be time spent pouring some brews at Bar 352. You can see the social media announcement below.
Whether you're a fan of baseball and the Sod Poodles, or you're a fan of football, the Cowboys, and Troy Aikman, know that next Thursday at Hodgetown is going to be one for the books.
