TxDOT Is Interested In What You Have To Say Regarding Amarillo Boulevard

TxDOT is having a meeting tomorrow (April 27, 2023) regarding improvements to the boulevard. These improvements are intended to improve safety.

According to a breakdown from TxDOT, the project includes things like constructing turn lanes, modifying medians, constructing median barriers, and even constructing continuous sidewalk or shared use path.

You can see more info by following this link.

The meeting will be an open house hosted by TxDOT where you can raise concerns, ask questions, or get all the info you need on what is being proposed as part of this project.

There is an in-person and a virtual option in case you can't make it. In person will be held from 2PM - 4PM and then again from 6PM - 8PM. The virtual option exists starting tomorrow through May 12, 2023.

The in-person meeting will be held at the Amarillo College West Campus Lecture Hall.

Amarillo Landmarks: Negative Yelp Reviews

Yelp can be a strange and angry place. That's what I found out recently when I decided to sort the reviews by "lowest rating" first.

I was okay with the people upset over bad service and what not. But I came across a few reviews that, for lack of a better word, left me speechless in their scathing negative reviews on some of Amarillo's most iconic places. Prepare your self for plenty of head shaking and "I dunno" shrugs.
