Earlier this year, I wrote a piece about Cadillac Ranch and the wild stories that are out there about it supposedly being haunted. I'm not sure exactly where all of this originated. It's definitely not something you hear mentioned regularly when the topic of the field o' buried cars comes up.

Thanks to this video, I think I can see why people are saying Cadillac Ranch is really haunted.

Halfway Dead Paranormal VS Cadillac Ranch

Halfway Dead Paranormal has made several videos investigating various locations in the Texas panhandle. Why not? There's plenty of ghost stories and spooky legends to give you a lifetime of content.

We live in a part of the world with a history that just seems like it would ooze things that go bump in the night.

Recently, their investigations took them to Cadillac Ranch. After my eyes quit doing barrel rolls, I gave the video a watch.

What Ghosts Are Supposedly Haunting Cadillac Ranch?

That's a fantastic question. It doesn't seem like it would be a hotbed of ghostly activity.

According to the insanely little amount of information out there, Cadillac Ranch is allegedly haunted by the ghost of a woman who died in a car crash nearby. I wrote about this already, and it still seems a little loose to me.

Someone dies in a car crash, and the nearest thing is Cadillac Ranch, so they decide that's what they're going to haunt? Is that how that works? Their ghost-self just gets up and hikes over to the line of Cadillacs and calls it an eternity? I'm beyond skeptical.

What Did The Paranormal Investigators Find?

Some interesting audio. If you want to get even more specific...a demon.

I'll say this; there is a moment or two in the video where I got a little creeped out. I'm not about to jump onboard the "Cadillac Ranch is haunted train," but it was worth watching.

The most interesting part of the video to me is where the woman in the car crash gets mentioned. Maybe there's something to the "legend."

While there aren't any "disembodied screams" captured on film, there are some moments that are scarier than most of what Hollywood has been able to pump out in recent history.

So, kudos on that.

Watch the video for yourself, and then see if you think Cadillac Ranch is haunted.

The Abandoned Herring Hotel in Amarillo, Texas

You may have passed it a million times while driving downtown, or you may be new to town. Either way, chances are you've seen the beautiful Herring Hotel. The beautiful aging brick tower sits unoccupied on 3rd and Pearce streets. It's a grand building that stands as a reminder of Amarillo's early days as a cattle and oil town and it tells the stories well.

If you've ever wondered what's inside this towering building, just take a peek below.
