Lubbock Police and the Major Crimes Unit are asking for your help in identifying a suspect who was allegedly involved in a shooting just days ago.

According to Lubbock Police, on January 1st, officers responded to reports of "shots fired" outside of a convenience store in the 2600 block of Avenue Q. The reports were made at about 12:50 a.m.

According to a press release, officers found Obby Galicia and Christopher Galicia had been shot and the suspect had fled on foot.

Through the initial course of the investigation, it was determined Christopher and Obby were involved in an argument with an unknown individual outside the convenience store. The suspect exited the convenience store and began arguing with Obby. The suspect struck Obby with a firearm before fiiring shots at Obby and Christopher. Both Obby and Christopher were struck by the gunfire.
