Lubbock Police Called To Hotel After Man Pointed A Gun At Guest

Lubbock Police were called to the Days Inn in the 6000 block of Avenue A on Tuesday for a disturbance. That's when Chad Melton was arrested by Lubbock Police.
According to KAMC, the victim at the Days Inn told authorities that Melton, "pointed a gun at him while yelling" during the incident. KAMC also reported on Wednesday that the victim was recording the incident showed police the recording.
Officers located Melton and placed him under arrest. Melton has been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. According to KAMC, Melton remained at the Lubbock County Detention Center on Wednesday on a $40,000 bond.
