Yolanda Saldívar, the woman found guilty of killing famous singer Selena Quintanilla-Pérez in 1995, is facing danger in the Mountain View Unit, a high-security women's jail in Texas.

According to TheMessenger.com people inside the prison, including former inmates and staff, say that she is very disliked.

There have been moments when other prisoners have tried to attack her, forcing the guards to step in to protect her.

Some say that others in prison want to hurt her so badly that there's a price or "bounty" on her head.

Because of these threats, it's believed that she will use her unsafe situation in prison as a reason to ask for early release.

She will be able to request parole in March 2025.

Even with the tough conditions she's experiencing, many people, including those who used to be in jail with her, don't feel sorry for her.

They believe she deserves this treatment because she took away a beloved singer from her fans.
