New music Friday rolls around again with a bevy of new hip-hop releases for your listening pleasure. This week, 2025's most prolific MC drops yet another full-length project, a West Coast duo joins forces once again, a genre-bending St. Louis rapper drops more vibes and more.

Boldy James and V Don Release Alphabet Highway Project

Boldy James' 2025 run is nothing short of impressive. The Detroit rapper collaborates with producer V Don for his fifth album of the year, Alphabet Highway. Bo Jack adds another 13 songs to his body of work on the new release. Alphabet Highway comes directly on the heels of Hommage with Antt Beatz, which dropped last Friday.

Shoreline Mafia Reunites on Back in Bidness Album

Shoreline Mafia's OhGeesy and Fenix Flexin return. The duo release their first album in five years, Back in Bidness. The new album clocks in at 16 songs and includes the previously released title track. The two rappers open up shop on the heels of OhGeesy's Paid N Full album, which came out in February.

Luh Kel Puts Out Better Late Than Never EP

Luh Kel ends a drought with his new EP, Better Late Than Never. The new project has 10 songs and guest spots from Seddy Hendrix and Lil Darius. After some time to reflect since his last project, the St. Louis rapper takes it back to his roots while leveling up his sound. "Better Late Than Never is my first project in two years. I took some time off to remember why I fell in love with music," says Luh Kel. "The songs on this project are a blend of how I started—freestyling songs together—to now making complete R&B records."
