Think you’ve seen all of the Beastie Boys tribute videos so far? Think again. One such tribute featuring kids reenacting the music video for ‘Sabotage’ is popping up all over the web. The great thing about the video is that it’s actually hilarious, not to mention incredibly well done.

Because of the unfortunate passing of Beastie Boy Adam ‘MCA’ Yauch, a flood of support and admiration for the band is emerging. A slew of covers and tributes have been performed in order to pay homage to the late great rapper and hip-hop group of over three decades. However, this tribute video by James Winters has to be one of the cutest, so far.

Perhaps some of the best parts were just watching the kids be kids in adult situations: Seeing them attempt to drive the car, climb over fences and slide across the hood of their police car while trying to nab a crook. Of course, seeing them all dressed in tiny shirts and ties accompanied by large wigs and mustaches (that nearly covered their lips) didn’t hurt either.

Winters posted of Vimeo: “Worked on this with the wife, kids and our nephew over the past week to pay tribute to Adam “MCA” Yauch.” One thing is certain, those kids have one cool dad / uncle!

Whether or not the lasting members of the Beastie Boys — Mike D and Ad-Rock — have been able to ch-check it out isn’t certain; but if they do, there’s no doubt the duo will feel an immense amount of gratitude afterwards.
