Mac Miller's family and friends believe they are close to getting some closure, after the man authorities believe sold the rapper tainted pills that he accidentally overdosed on has been charged. The late Pittsburgh rhymer's father recently celebrated the good news.

On Sunday (Sept. 8), video surfaced of Mac's dad, Mark McCormick, relaying word that 23-year-old Cameron James Pettit has been charged by federal prosecutors for his involvement in the death of the rapper.

"So they finally caught the muthafucka that sold him the drugs that killed him," McCormick tells a crowd of onlookers who applaud the news in the clip. "And we find some comfort in that. Many of us who were young, including me, experiment with drugs. But it's a different fucking world out there. All it takes is a little tiny stone of Fentanyl and cocaine and you're dead."

He added, "The one thing I would say to you is don't take the risk. It's just not worth it."

Federal authorities believe Pettit sold Mac Miller counterfeit Oxycodone pills that contained Fentanyl just days be he overdosed on Sept. 7, 2018. If found guilty, he could face up to 20 years in federal prison.

Mac Miller's ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande recently expressed she would like to see the man accused of selling the rapper tainted drugs do hard time for taking advantage of Mac.
