Mike ‘The Situation’ In Rehab Update

He is in rehab? Wait he isn't in rehab? What is the deal with Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino? The latest news is that he is indeed in rehab for a pill addiction and alcohol.

Over the past few days there have been several different reports about The Situation going to rehab. Well it has been confirmed by Mike himself that he is indeed seeking treatment. Here's what he posted on his Facebook page:

"I want to set the record straight. I have voluntarily taken steps to get control of a prescription medication problem I had due to exhaustion. I have spent the past several weeks getting treatment for this problem and recuperating from my work and appearance schedule. I appreciate my fans support and love you guys."

Reports are saying that he is not only seeking help for a prescription pill addiction, but also for alcohol abuse. Sources close to The Situation, confirmed that he went through detox at a facility before he checked into the Cirque Lodge in Utah, and the detox involved alcohol.

Alcohol has been a big factor in all five seasons of the Jersey Shore. I think this is going to be the end of the Shore house. With an alcohol problem, Mike is probably going to have to stay away from the clubs. And if MTV allows him to drink, won't they be contributing to his problem?
