Miley Not a Bad Influence Afterall?! [Video]

Miley Cyrus hasn't always done what her parents or anybody's parents approve of.  But that doesn't stop her.  And to top it off, not all she does is bad.

Miley was recently awarded an "Inspiration Award" at the 2011 Global Action Awards ceremony.  It was presented by Hilary Duff and it was given because of all her hard work for the community.

So what has she done?  She helps feed hungry kids.  She also encourages volunteering in the community.  Ok so she isn't perfect, but she does have a good heart.

During her acceptance speech, she encourages kids to do what they feel like doing, not what someone tells them to do.  Does that mean 'don't listen to your parents?'  I don't know, but I gotta give props to Miley for her charitable work.

It would be nice to hear more of these types of story from her.  Feel free to watch the video and tell me what you think.
