It's one of the cooler events that happen every year in Amarillo, and it's fast approaching this year.

The Amarillo Angels Mom Prom 2025 is happening March 1, and they're getting all geared up for a night of fun for women over the age of 21.

This has been one of the signature events of Amarillo, and they're expecting over 900 women to show up at the event this year. Yes, it's a night of fun, food, drinks, and entertainment, but it's also for a good cause.

What Do Amarillo Angels Do?

The organization is all about making sure that foster care children, families, and more have a constant support system through "intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship."

Their whole goal is to make sure they have long-lasting relationships that are affirming and healthy for them. Obviously being in a foster situation is tough, so any type of positive support is a good thing.

What Is Mom Prom?

It's exactly what you think it is. These women, not just moms, get dressed up in their best dresses and fancy shoes and get their hair and makeup done for a night out. Sure, there's dancing and everything that comes with prom, but it's so much more.

Food, drinks (and the types of drinks you couldn't legally have at prom), and silent auctions will be happening all night long. All the proceeds go back to Amarillo Angels to continue their mission.

How Can I Help?

I'm glad you asked, because right now they are in desperate need of volunteers and donations. They have a closet full of prom dresses, but they're in need of shoes, accessories, anything that can be worn at prom.

They also need volunteers for the program itself. Currently, 50 families are on the wait list for someone, so if you want to be a part of someone's life and make a difference, here's your chance.

You can buy tickets and get all the info about Mom Prom 2025 on their website.
