Sexting seems to be the new way that people flirt with each other in the 'digital age'. Sometimes to the dismay of the person doing the 'sexting'.

Everyone has seen at least one example of sexting gone wrong. When people's 'sext messages' get shared or leaked, it can lead to big problems for the person.

Well, now for iPhone users, sexting just got a little more 'friendly'. The 'Snapchat' iPhone app allows users to set an expiration on how long the photo they took is viewable before it is destroyed. Along with that, it reports whether the photo has been 'screenshotted' from the receiving user.

According to the description you can set the app to eradicate itself anywhere from 1-10 seconds after the recipient views it. If they try and capture a screenshot, the app will alert you, but it isn’t clear if it actually prevents people from saving the screenshot.

While they did not specifically state that the app was developed for sexting, there doesn't seem to be a much better use for it than that. Just like all other forms of technology, I'm sure there is a loophole or way for it to be hacked. So, if you are going to send those kind of messages, think before you send.

Anything you submit to the internet/digital world is OUT THERE forever, for everyone.
