New Year’s Eve Parties In Amarillo? Here’s Some Good Ones.

Out with the old and in with the new! That's the beauty of New Year's Eve, we get a chance to party our faces off and tell the year to kick rocks. We look ahead to what the next 365 days will bring us, hopefully, better than the previous year.

I'm not saying 2022 was a bad year, but I'm saying 2023 is going to be better!

As we near the end of 2022, we start to look for plans on how we want to ring in the new year and how much fun can we have forgetting the things that got in the way. There are many different ways to bring in the new year, ranging from lounging on your couch enjoying some champagne to going all out at a rager of a party.

We found a few interesting events going on here in Amarillo and I felt like sharing them with you.

MURDER MYSTERY PARTY AT CACTUS COVE

This is happening at the Cactus Cove Inn, located at 2501 E. I-40. The theme will take place during the 1920s prohibition era and it'll be your job to figure out who is responsible for killing a billionaire at the party. Was it you? The only way to find out is to attend the party. It all kicks off at 6 pm and you can get more info about it here.

NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY AT THE DRUNKEN OYSTER

If you're just looking to kick back, have a good time, listen to some live music, and have a few drinks then The Drunken Oyster is your spot! They'll have some holiday cocktails, great drink specials, and a champagne toast at midnight.

PONDASETA BREWING NEW YEAR'S EVE CELEBRATION

Now this one sounds like my kind of thing. Pondaseta Brewing will be kicking things off at 8:30 pm with a photo booth, charcuterie spread, a live DJ, and Jello shots. They'll be doing multiple champagne toasts starting at 9 pm as they'll do toasts around the globe leading up to when we hit the new year. And yes, you'll be able to enjoy plenty of their tasty beers.

BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG CITY AT THE BARFIELD

If you're looking for the high-roller party, then this is the one for you. The Barfield is throwing a bash that plans to be so epic, you have to get a room for the evening. You can expect an exclusive light show, a 4-course dinner with wine pairing, and music from The Band Monarch & Esquire Jazz Band. This is a black-tie affair that will have you forgetting all about 2022 and waking up to a phenomenal breakfast in 2023.
