You know that texting is a major distraction when you drive (don't ever do that by the way).  However, a woman in London crashed her car when she was distracted by....A SPIDER! Evidently, they eight-legged creature crawled up on her and it freaked her out so much that she crashed her car into a lamp post. The police were not amused because it could have been another car she hit. My brother had a similar experience once except it was a BAT instead of a spider.  He killed it by pouring vodka all over it.  So the lesson to be learned from this is to either have your car exterminated or carry vodka.
