It's always one of the more fun things that rolls through Amarillo. And when I say rolls, I mean that in the most literal sense.

Kids start to go bananas, and honestly so do the adults. The kids are mesmerized by it, the parents want to drive it. Some of us are actually old enough to remember owning the little wienie whistle.

It's that time of year again when the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile comes into town! There are only six of these in the world, so when it comes to your city, it's definitely a sight to be seen. You don't want to miss your opportunity to take pictures with it and see it up close and personal.

If you've never seen it in person before, it's awesome. A giant 27-foot hot dog on wheels that just makes you crave a hot dog after seeing it. Seeing the inside of it is something that's pretty cool as well.

Every time I've seen it, I've wanted to get behind the wheel, but I'm actually terrified of driving something that is 27-feet long. I mean, you'd have to take the widest turns on the planet with it.

You'll have four different chances to see it up close and personal in Amarillo, and it's going to be at each location for at least several hours.

On October 31st, it'll be hanging out at the Grace Church Trunk or Treat, 4111 Plains Blvd. It'll be at the event for 3 1/2 hours starting at 5:30 pm, so you'll have plenty of time to get all the candy AND take a picture with the wiener.

November 1st, it'll move on over to the brand new Market Street at 8761 S. Coulter St. Starting at Noon, you'll be able to go over and see it, maybe even on your lunch break. It'll be there for six hours so plenty of time to take the kiddos over after school.

The following day, November 2nd, it'll work its way over to Maxwell's Pumpkin Farm where it'll be hanging out all day and night for you to see. Starting at 10 am, you'll get an added bonus when you visit Maxwell's. It won't be leaving until 9 pm, so plenty of time to go out and snap that pic.

The final day it'll be in town is November 3rd, when you'll find it parked at the United Supermarket at 3552 S. Soncy. Starting at 9 am, you'll be able to hop over and see it but make sure you get there before it rolls out of town at 3 pm.
