Preorders For the iPhone 5 Passed 2 Million in 24 Hours

It is insane how much technology changes in such a short amount of time.  If you just now got the iPhone 4 then you are soon to be outdated.  Yup, he iPhone 5 will soon hit shelves.

The pre-orders for the iPhone 5 have taken on a life of their own.  According to Apple, the pre-orders reached 2 million in just 24 hours.  This is double the amount that the iPhone 4 had.  Even AT&T is announcing a huge pre-order through their store.

So what makes the iPhone 5 so special?  Well it will have a bigger screen, about 4 inches, that will allow for another row of icons or a better view of your favorite movie.  The calendar will also so 5 days instead of three.

So two extra calendar days and an extra 1/2 inch of screen is all the benefits.  I'm sure it will be faster and better.  Worth the wait, that is until the iPhone 6 is released.

Since there were way more orders than anticipated, some customers will receive theirs on Friday while others will have to wait until early October.  Did you pre-order one?
