New Touchscreen Fountains at Amarillo QuikTrip
It was just over a year ago when the Amarillo convenience store game got a lot hotter. Toot'n Totum and Pak-A-Sak hadn't seen this level of competition in quite some time, but it's here.
QuikTrip opened up two stores on opposite ends of Amarillo, and they've been a revelation for the residents of the city when it came to options for convenience stores. There's a reason for that, and they just continue to make improvements to make the experience better.

QuikTrip Makes Its First Major Change
Not even a year into them being around at Bell & Arden, and they had curtains up as they began to make all sorts of changes. The main change was to the coffee area. It was already a nice setup with machines that would grind the beans right there and give you the freshest cup of coffee.
However, they leveled up in a major way and constructed the ultimate cold brew section. Complete with taps like it was draft beer, you had 12 new options to create the ultimate coffee drink. Mind you, this was within a year of opening that they were already making major changes.
More Changes In Amarillo
Well, over the last week or so, those infamous curtains were up around both of the fountain drink areas. You were unable to get a fountain drink for a good week and a half or so. I thought they just had a catastrophic failure with the fountains.
Nope, dead wrong. They've now leveled up there as well, with all new touch screens that offer up far more than the old school fountains could. Aside from being aesthetically pleasing, you can get more options now. Flavor your favorite soda with numerous options, and get to choose from even more than they initially offered. Watch out, because QuikTrip is here to stay.
