Russell Brand Files For A Divorce From Katy Perry!

It's like the world's prayers have been answered!  Katy Perry is hot and bubbly, she's a good girl and doesn't need to be with a douche like Russell Brand.  Well the ball has began to roll on the divorce as Russell himself filed in LA.  The documents cite "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the divorce.  That's the same reason we all use to basically say "I'm sick of this crazy person!"

It's going to be an easier divorce, if there is such a thing, because the 2 have only been together for  2 years and thankfully they did not procreate, meaning they have no children.  Which is kind of a good thing, the world could use a million more Katy Perry's, but we've got our fill of Russell Brand's already.

I think this one we actually saw coming, with all the stories about them having problems being reported.  And the fact they spent Christmas apart.  No happy couple does that!  TMZ reports:

Russell Brand has filed for divorce from Katy Perry ... TMZ has learned.

In the docs, filed in L.A., Brand cites "irreconcilable differences." The two were married Oct. 23, 2010 in India.  They have no kids.

Russell has released a statement, claiming, "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."

Sources had told TMZ the couple was having problems, evidenced by the fact that they spent Christmas apart and neither was wearing a wedding ring.

Although it's not 100%, based on what we now know it appears Brand may have blindsided Perry by filing the divorce petition.

Russell appeared on "Ellen" just this month, slamming divorce rumors -- claiming, "I'm really happily married ... I’m married to Katy. Perpetually, until death do us part was the pledge. I’m still alive."

Well maybe this means your going to die!?  Sorry bad joke, I just can't stand that guy he is super annoying, a little bit of him goes a long way!

Katy Perry however, I can't get enough of!  Get through the divorce girl, take half that jerk offs stuff and find a good man!  I'd offer myself up but I'm married and the whole polygamy discussion I had with my wife didn't blow over to well.
